I needed to enable Google Ads again. I don't like it, but because of 2 years of inactivity on my account, the State of Arizona would have claimed my ad money. If you see an interesting ad please click on it.

Whenever you come to New Mexico and you travel on US-60 make sure you stop at the Pie-O-Neer in Pie Town for coffee and pie. This place is well know across the USA for their pies. Here is the link to a YouTube video about this place. There is also a documentary about the "Lady of Pie Town" Last time Gerda and I stopped there during their annual Pie Festival. I have never seen so many people in this little town.

Since our anniversary is in January we booked a Western Caribbean Cruise. Our cruise ship left from New Orleans and stopped in Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Costa Maya. In Cozumel we saw the first Maya ruins. We had a great guide which took the time in the bus and at the ruins to explain the history of these ruins. Here is a link to Wikipedia, which explains the history of the San Gervasio ruins. Belize was our second stop, where we snorkeled on a coral reef and visited a private island. We had the whole island to ourselves. Third stop in Roatan, a small island belonging to Honduras. Tropical rain was pouring down on us and our swimming with dolphins was canceled. On our fourth stop we visited more Maya ruins. This time a large city called Kohunlich. It was very impressive to see colossal buildings, palace, pyramid and a ball court. Here is a link to Wikipedia, which explains the Kohunlich ruins in detail. Here is a link to the pictures.
In March I signed up for a Rusty Wallace Racing Experience at the Phoenix International Raceway. Drivers have the opportunity to drive a real NASCAR racing car. Here is a link to the pictures and the video from my day at the PIR.
In April I bought a new video editing software. I finally created a video from our motorcycle to the Harley Davidson 110th anniversary in Milwaukee, WI. last summer. Here is the link to the YouTube video and here is the link to the video on my website.
Beginning of June Gerda and I went on a Grand Canyon Expedition. 190 miles down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in 7 days. You might say that this is not a real expedition. It actually is. Down in the Grand Canyon you are totally disconnected from any civilization. Western River Expedition organized the trip and we took everything what we needed for 7 days with us and we had to carry out all the trash and waste created during the trip. Grand Canyon is "Carry In - Carry Out" by all means. Click HERE to check out the pictures from this trip. And HERE is a link to a video from this trip.
If you want to go on your own camping in the Grand Canyon here is a link to a website with great resources.
